What? Today Was a Holiday?

Before I even get anywhere with this post, check this out:

Check it out, Kina sent a shout out to me on her video! How cool is that! For sure I'm getting her something to show my appreciation at her next show.

Well anyways, her show last night at the Hotel Cafe was just spectacular. Have you ever listened to an artist, and you just get the chills? I was experiencing that during her whole set. She's really that good guys. And her personality is just as wonderful. She's really sweet if you meet her in person. Her and her family.

Anyways, here's a few shots of last night:

If she ever happens to be playing in your area, be sure to go see her perform live! I guarantee you'll enjoy it :).

Argh, I'm such a noob. Today I was restringing the guitar ( the cheapy nylon strings just weren't doing it for me, always go bronze or better if you can help it), and I accidentally snapped the 4 string while tuning. The darn string swiped at my neck! So now I've got this long gash across my neck. It looks like I tried to commit suicide or something. I hope no one gets the wrong ideas when they see it. On top of that, I need to buy another 4th string! Gah, back to Sam Ash. And I have one dorky nylon string sticking out like a sore thumb. It's fairly noticeable when I play it. Whatever. My sister's getting annoyed that I'm trying to practice, but I'm gonna keep on doing it. I'm polite enough to not get crazy when she's having her late night conversations with her boyfriend, which usually turn into shouting matches at the end of the night anyways. If I can stand having to listen to her scream her head off once a week, I'm sure she can handle me playing guitar for an hour or two.

Well, I think my clothes are done in the dryer. Time to do some clothes-folding before I go to bed.

Dude,

Thanks for the heads up on the first slide. Good you made it to Hotel Cafe. Should have introduced myself there. Yeah we should work together to shoot her next gig in Fullerton. There's no intrusion on territories with me. I'll look for you on Friday...

Later...
